They will probably not have what you are looking for at a basic store.

I prefer to order this type of item from a specialty store.

I need to hear my radio favorite radio station across half the state. I can hear it in my car when I get their but not anywhere else! what kind of antenna do I need?

The radio station is a station from Seattle Washington and I need to hear it from Longbeach Washington, if any of you are familiar with this area

Also suggesting antennas would be aweasome ))

If this is an AM station, and with enough transmitter power, then go to ccrane.com. They have a good auto AM antenna. If this is an FM staion, then that’s tougher. FM is more line of sight and has much more limited broadcast area.

I’m looking for an inexpensive embroidery machine, I’ve never done it before so I don’t want to spend a ton of money just in case I don’t like it. Does anyone know of any place I could find one that’s in good shape, but used?

You might want to see if a retailer is offering lessons for the purchaser of the machine. Since so many are hi-tech they will offer this extra perk to the purchase.
Some craft stores will offer classes and those retailers might know of local places to look for used machines.
You might also try the sports stores that still personalize school logos and speak with the monogrammer of the store.
